The EOS R100 is Canon’s simplest way into interchangeable-lens photography: a 356g mirrorless body with a 24.1MP APS-C sensor, an electronic viewfinder and the same RF mount used by professional EOS R cameras. With the RF-S 18-45mm, it is a complete first kit for families, students and travelers.

Dual Pixel CMOS AF with eye detection keeps faces sharp, and continuous shooting at up to 6.5 fps catches children and pets on the move. The large sensor delivers cleaner low-light shots and natural background blur that phone cameras struggle to match, while the RF-S 18-45mm contributes 4 stops of optical stabilization.

Video records in 4K 25p from a cropped area of the sensor or in Full HD up to 60p, with an external microphone input for better sound. Wi-Fi and Bluetooth send pictures to a phone for instant sharing, and a single LP-E17 battery is rated for about 430 shots per charge on the LCD.
