The Sony FX30 is the gateway into the Cinema Line, wrapping professional filmmaking tools around a 26.1MP APS-C (Super 35) back-illuminated Exmor R sensor and the BIONZ XR engine. It records oversampled UHD 4K at up to 60p from a 6K readout, and high-frame-rate 4K at up to 120p for fluid slow motion, all in 10-bit 4:2:2 with S-Cinetone, S-Log3, and user-loadable LUTs providing a true cinema color pipeline at an accessible price.

Dual base ISO of 800 and 2,500 keeps footage clean across lighting conditions, and 5-axis in-body stabilization with Active Mode smooths handheld movement. The cage-free chassis carries multiple 1/4″-20 mounting points for direct rigging, an internal cooling fan permits unlimited record times, and dual card slots accept CFexpress Type A or SD UHS-II media. Compact, lightweight, and fully compatible with the entire E-mount lens ecosystem, the FX30 is built for the next generation of filmmakers.
