Sony FX3A Full-Frame Cinema Camera

The Sony FX3A is the most compact camera in the Cinema Line, refined for solo shooters, documentary work, and gimbal or B-camera duty. Its 12.1MP full-frame back-illuminated Exmor R sensor and BIONZ XR processor deliver UHD 4K recording at up to 120p with internal 10-bit 4:2:2 sampling, 15+ stops of dynamic range, and an expandable ISO range reaching 409,600 for astonishing low-light capability. The default S-Cinetone color profile produces beautiful skin tones out of the box and matches seamlessly with FX6, FX9, and VENICE footage, while S-Log3 preserves maximum grading latitude.

The cage-free body design includes multiple 1/4″-20 mounting points for rigging accessories directly to the chassis, and the included detachable top handle adds two XLR/TRS combo inputs for up to 4-channel 24-bit audio. An internal cooling fan enables uninterrupted long-form recording, tally lamps keep the whole crew informed, and 5-axis in-body stabilization with Active Mode smooths handheld run-and-gun footage. Dual card slots accept both CFexpress Type A and SD UHS-II media, and 16-bit RAW output is available over full-size HDMI.
