Canon RF 70-200mm f/2.8L IS USM Lens

The 70-200mm f/2.8 is the lens wedding, event and sports photographers rely on most, and Canon’s RF version rethinks the formula. Its extending design measures about 146mm when retracted and weighs 1,070g, so it travels far more compactly than traditional internal-zoom designs and fits upright in a standard camera bag.

Two Nano USM motors drive the focus and floating lens groups independently, giving fast, precise tracking for ceremonies, stage performances and sideline action, while the optical stabilizer provides about 5 stops of correction. The constant f/2.8 aperture and nine-blade circular diaphragm deliver the subject isolation and smooth background blur that define this focal range.

One Super UD, three UD and two aspherical elements keep images crisp and free of color fringing, SWC and fluorine coatings resist flare and make the front element easier to clean, and the barrel is dust and moisture resistant for outdoor work in changing weather.
